Hello everyone! My name is Alana Wambeek, and I’m excited to share my journey with you. Originally from the beautiful island of Sri Lanka, I’ve called Dubai my home for the past 15 years. Makeup is my escape and happiness, and my journey as a professional makeup artist began five years ago. Working with clients, brands, and events has brought me immense joy and peace.

My path started when I wanted to learn how to do my makeup better and accentuate my features without going overboard, I remember looking in the mirror and wishing I could recreate the stunning looks I saw online. To my surprise, I discovered how much I enjoyed it and longed to pursue it as a career. After a significant career change, I followed my passion for makeup artistry, which opened doors to amazing people and exciting projects.

Nothing makes me happier than making my clients feel beautiful and helping them shine on their special days. This journey has introduced me to a vibrant community and provided the creativity I craved. I am also proud to be the co-founder of Laria Beauty, a brand dedicated to empowering makeup artists.
